สรุปการเผยแพร่ผลงานวิจัย - Screen-Printed Polymer/MWCNT Array based on Flexible Chemiresistive Sensor and Its Application

This work reports a chemiresistive sensor array of polymer/multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNT) on flexible substrate and its application for rice aroma detection. Chemical sensor array consisting two set of eight kinds of sensing material was simply prepared using screen-printing technique. Fabrication process was given in the details. Chemical sensing properties were investigated by static testing to various volatile organic compounds (VOCs) such as ammonia, benzene, toluene, pyridine, acetone, ethanol, hexanal, ethyl acetate and nonanal in range of 50-1000 ppm. The results were shown that chemical sensor array could exhibit the sensing responses in broaden range to the VOCs; moreover, its patterns corresponding to interactions between the volatiles and eight sensor-types can be clearly distingue. The sensing element which was produced from poly(methyl vinyl ether-alt-maleic acid)/MWCNT composite shows potentially selective responding to ammonia vapor while polyvinylpyrolidone/MWCNT exhibit the strength of sensing behavior to hexanal, ethyl acetate and nonanal. Due to sensing responses to these VOCs, the obtained chemical sensor array was offered to adopt for rice aroma detection by means of an electronic nose system.
